Hi welcome to our Country Kennels. We are Sue and Jeff Ward, experienced carers with a deep love for animals. As dog lovers who grew up on high country farms and have recently relocated from Nelson, we understand the importance of providing a home away from home for your loyal companions. Our background in running a commercial cut flower business for 25 years has provided us with the dedication of running a successful and professional business. We also have the skills and experience with animals needed to ensure your pets are in good hands.

Dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for your loyal companions while you're away, we offer spacious accommodations and plenty of room to roam. At Country Kennels, we treat your loyal companions like family, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve.

Our pick-up and drop-off times are by appointment between 8am – 10am and 4pm – 6pm, and no charge for early pick-ups before 10am.

Please remember to bring your vaccination passport with you on check-in. We have lovingly renovated, painted the kennels and tidied the grounds, creating a cozy and caring environment for your dogs stay.

We strive to make your loyal companions stay as convenient and comfortable as possible, so please do feel free to bring your dogs bedding or rug to make them feel at home.
